Roads in Lancaster city centre were closed after a wall collapsed onto a parked car during rush hour.
Thurnham Street was closed at the junction of George Street after the incident near Kwik Fit on Thursday evening, bringing traffic to a standstill during a busy period on the city one-way system.
Our pictures show the car, which was parked in the Kwik Fit car park nearby, covered in bricks after part of a wall on a building next to the car park collapsed on top of it.
This photo, sent by Tabitha Tipper, shows the building and the area sealed off by police.
A spokesperson for Lancaster Police, who were called at 5.58pm, said: "We want to let you know that a number of roads in Lancaster will be closed for a while, after we received a report of a partial wall collapse on Thurnham Street.
"Thankfully, no one is thought to have been injured, but the surrounding roads have been closed for your safety whilst we await the arrival of structural engineers.
"Thurnham Street is closed at the junction of George Street.
"There is a diversion in place via King Street to the right or left onto George Street for southbound traffic.

"There is a closure in place at Marton Street at the junction with Penny Street with traffic diverted towards George Street.
"There is signage in place and officers are on scene diverting traffic as some of the diversions are contravening normal routes such as bus lanes.
"Please make sure you check your routes before you set off, and where possible, find an alternative route.
"We will keep you updated as and when we know more and as always, thank you for your patience."
UPDATE: Roads in Lancaster city centre remained closed on Friday morning and police said they were working to reopen them "as soon as possible".
A Lancaster Area Police spokesperson said: "We were called at just before 6pm yesterday to a report that the outer wall of a building on Thurnham Street had collapsed scattering masonry into the road and into the car park of Kwik Fit.
"Some surrounding roads were closed and remain so this morning for your safety while structural engineers assess the site.
"This work may take some time, but we are working hard to get some roads open as soon as possible and we appreciate your patience and understanding while we work with our partners to do this."
Kwik Fit remained open on Friday morning.
Stagecoach said that due to severe delays around the city centre, their Common Garden Street bus stop would be out of use until further notice.
They also said they would not serve the stops at the Pointer roundabout and Royal Lancaster Infirmary.
