An ‘educational’ bin lorry is touring Lancaster and Morecambe this week.
Ahead of Recycle Week, taking place between September 14-20, Lancaster City Council’s team will taking the waste and recycling education wagon out and about to answer your questions about the services offered.
There will also be the chance to take part in a food waste quiz to be in with a chance of winning two tickets to Tranquil Spa at Salt Ayre Leisure Centre.
The waste and recycling education wagon will be at these locations:
*Tuesday September 8: Bin Hub, Alexandra Park, Morecambe 10am to 12pm; Festival Market, Morecambe, 1.30pm to 4pm.
*Wednesday September 9: Bin Hub, Upper St Leonard’s Gate Car Park, Lancaster, 10am to 12pm; Cavendish Road, Morecambe, 1.30pm to 4pm.
*Thursday September 10: Poulton Park, Morecambe, 10am to 12pm; Owen Road (end of Pinfold Lane/Norfolk Street) Skerton, Lancaster, 1.30pm to 4pm.
*Friday September 11: Bin Hub, Alexandra Park, Morecambe, 10am to 12pm; Bin Hub, Upper St Leonard’s Gate Car Park, Lancaster, 1.30pm to 4pm.
