A new Indian restaurant is set to open in the heart of Lancaster city centre.
Rasa will open soon at 5 Cheapside, directly opposite McDonalds.
It will open in the premises formerly occupied by the Medusa Mediterranean restaurant, which closed recently.
Several posts announcing that Rasa is opening soon, have been posted on the restaurant's official Facebook page.
One says: "A new destination is coming, created with elegance, warmth, and attention to every detail.
"A place to pause, connect, and create moments worth remembering.
"Rasa is almost ready to welcome you."
Another says: "A taste of South India is coming to Lancaster.
"Where cherished traditions meet refined flavours, and every moment is crafted to be savoured. Rasa is preparing to welcome you soon."
A sign in the window of the premises says that Dosa Villa Ltd has applied to Lancaster City Council for a pavement licence for an outdoor seating area for the consumption of food and drink at Rasa, proposing for this to be open Sunday to Thursday 8am to 10pm and Friday to Saturday 8am to 11pm.
