Police have warned residents to be on their guard after an increase in burglaries in Morecambe.
Areas of Torrisholme and Grosvenor Park have been targeted recently, said a police spokesperson.
"With the run up to Christmas, please ensure that homes, garages and vehicles are locked and don't leave valuables on show," he said.
"Take extra security measures by possibly leaving lights on or make your property look like it isn't empty."
If you see anything suspicious, please contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111, or call 999 to report a crime in progress.
