The new series of The Bay mentions that world famous rapper Busta Rhymes lived in Morecambe - but is this actually true?
It has been reported for years that the 12-time Grammy award nominated rap superstar spent time in Morecambe as a youngster, but many have dismissed it as just an urban myth.
And once again, the claims that Busta Rhymes 'grew up in Morecambe' were made during last night's debut episode of the hit ITV crime drama The Bay.
Now we can finally put the arguments to bed, thanks to an interview with the man himself.
Busta spoke to GQ magazine in 2020, when he confirmed that he did indeed stay in Morecambe as a child in the mid-80s.

"I didn’t live in England. My mother's other sister Aunt Velma, she lived in Morecambe, England at the time, so we went down there to spend two summers," said the 50-year-old, real name Trevor Smith Jnr, speaking to Cheo Hodari Coker of GQ.
"One summer when we went down there I was 12, my brother was eight, so my aunt made sure that we actually went to school in England. Regular school and then we went to karate school too.
"We also were on some breakdancing that was so crazy, we ended up actually getting work to breakdance in clubs as minors. And our cousins used to run us around and they used to advertise us as TJ and Paul because my government name is Trevor Junior. We actually got memorabilia still from then, we got the flyers, a couple of newspaper clippings.
"My mom's held onto all of that because she thought, 'Wow, my kids are turning into little superstars'."
The school Busta went to while he was staying in the area, was Skerton High in Lancaster.
He also mentions Morecambe in his rap on a remixed version of Estelle's 2008 number one hit 'American Boy'.

The American rapper, producer and actor has released 10 studio albums in his career and sold more than nine million albums worldwide.
His hit singles include 'Woo-Hah! Got You All in Check', 'Turn it Up/Fire it Up', 'Gimme Some More' and 'I Know What You Want' with Mariah Carey. He also rapped on the Pussycat Dolls' number one hit 'Don't Cha'.
