A lifeboat hero got off the hovercraft on Morecambe beach then got down on one knee to his girlfriend and proposed!
Morecambe RNLI volunteer Luke Powney had planned the surprise proposal for Annie Park in front of their families on the beach near the Midland hotel on Saturday afternoon.
Annie watched from the sands as Luke and his crew mates returned to shore on the hovercraft after a training exercise, then her boyfriend produced an engagement ring and popped the question in his full RNLI gear.
And the shocked and delighted Annie said yes!
Beyond Radio was there to capture the happy moment shortly after Luke proposed.

LISTEN to what Luke had to say immediately after the proposal.
Luke said afterwards: "I'm feeling great. She was a little bit surprised. She didn't see it coming at all.
"She'd just been having afternoon tea at the Midland (hotel) with my mum and my sister-in-law as a little birthday surprise because it was her 25th birthday yesterday.
"It was also a big surprise when my dad turned up because he'd flown all the way over from Thailand just to make it.
"All my family and Annie's family stood behind her, and once she said 'yes' and realised I was being serious, and when she turned around and saw all her family I think the penny definitely dropped that this was something that I'd been planning for a little while."
Luke, who works for the family business Briggs Shoes shop just across the road from the Morecambe hovercraft station, has volunteered for the RNLI for three years.

"(Annie) knew when I proposed it would be something RNLI-related given that for the last three years I've been volunteering it's been very much a big part of my life, the crew becoming another family to me," he said.
"Speaking with the commanders and the ops team we planned something together that will be a memory that we won't forget."
A Morecambe lifeboat spokesperson said: "A massive congratulations to Morecambe RNLI volunteer crew member Luke and his fiancee Annie on their engagement today!
"Whilst out on a hovercraft training exercise and with a little help from his fellow volunteers, Luke got down on one knee and popped the question on the beach, what a wonderful moment.
"Congratulations to the newly engaged couple from us all at Morecambe RNLI."
