A renowned Morecambe DJ and events promoter of 55 years is preparing for his latest venture - a brand new pop music festival.
Steve Middlesbrough will promote 'World of Pop' at the Platform in March, April and August 2027.
Billed as 'the first annual Morecambe Bay Tribute Fest', World of Pop will feature 16 top tributes to some of the world's biggest names in pop music through the decades.
It will begin on Tuesday March 30 with tributes to Elvis Presley and Buddy Holly, continue on Wednesday March 31 with Diana Ross and Roy Orbison, then Dolly Parton and Rod Stewart on April 1, and Elton John and Tina Turner on April 2.
The festival's 'Side B' will begin with Cher and Shania Twain on August 23, Robbie Williams and Kylie Minogue on August 24, Amy Winehouse and Bruno Mars on August 25, with Sabrina Carpenter and Taylor Swift rounding things off on August 26.
