Six burglaries have been reported to police in rural Carnforth within the last month.
The break-ins have happened in the Whittington, Wennington and Borwick areas between mid-April and early May.
The culprit has been breaking into sheds and farm out-buildings overnight and stealing tools, wacker plates, bikes and farm equipment.
Det Insp Adie Knowles, speaking on his regular Beyond the Beat segment on Beyond Radio, advised people in rural areas of Carnforth and south Lancaster to stay vigilant and keep out-buildings locked.
If you see anything or anyone suspicious or have any information please call Lancaster Police on 101.
