Lancaster City have completed the signing of Callum Leigh from fellow Northern Premier League Premier Division side, Leek Town.
The 24-year-old midfielder will be linking up with Jimmy Marshall after spending the back end of the season plying his trade in Staffordshire.
Callum came through the youth ranks at Rochdale, before a move to Welsh side The New Saints, signing pro forms in 2020. Since then he has played most notably for Mossley and Bamber Bridge, where his form earned him a move to National League side Buxton.
After suffering a serious knee injury whilst back on loan at Irongate, Leigh worked his way back and featured for Leek Town 17 times last season.
Jimmy Marshall said: ‘’I’m delighted to get Callum on board. All supporters will know that we've got a couple of holes in the midfield that we've been looking to fill all summer.
‘’He did really well at Bamber Bridge and got a move to Buxton, he's managed to come back from a bad injury this season at Leek. He's got a great passing range on him, scores foals from distance and not afraid to pick up the ball.
‘’He's got good energy about him and we think that he's going to bring something really good and positive to the team."
