Lancaster City have unveiled their latest new recruits, with two new defenders moving to the Giant Axe.
The Dolly Blues, who narrowly missed out on reaching the Northern Premier League Premier Division play offs last season, have moved to capture defenders Sekouba Sanogo and Tom Bentley-Waite.
French left back Sanogo joins from NPL Division One West side Clitheroe.
The defender will link up with Jimmy Marshall's side after featuring 17 times for The blues after joining from NWCFL Prem side Barnoldswick Town back in back in November. He has previously played for Macclesfield, Glossop North End and also out in Poland.
Manager Jimmy Marshall said: ‘’Really pleased to get Sek on board.
‘’He’s a good wide player. Loads of energy, gets up and down the pitch, he really impressed me when we played Clitheroe at home in the Lancashire Cup.
‘’He has loads of pace about him, is a really good kid and wants to push on and play as high as he can and improve.
‘’Hopefully this will be a great place and a great squad to help him do that."
Centre back Bentley-Waite joins from League Two Fleetwood Town.
He joined the Under 21 set up at Highbury Stadium last summer after his scholarship at Accrington Stanley ended and featured for the Young Cods in last season's Professional Development League campaign.
Jimmy Marshall added: “I'm delighted to get Tom in.
‘’He is, technically a really really good footballer, defends well, good on the ball and got a good background, He’s been at Accrington and at Fleetwood.
‘’A player that we think we can get in and help him develop and really push on like we've done with certain others last season coming from that background, very similar to Toby Oliver.
‘’We've got really high hopes for him, he is a really, really good footballer and one that we think will fit in well into our dressing room and into our style of play."
