Two martial artists from a Lancaster academy have been crowned British champions.
Andrea Siem and Joseph Butler from Kaizen Academy won the national titles in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu earlier this month.
Andrea became the academy's first female champion, winning gold in her division and went on to win the Absolute division too, making her a double gold winner.
Joe also became British champion in his category after an outstanding performance.

He coaches children at Kaizen Academy who have also had great success.
"It’s a huge achievement for both athletes and a proud moment for our club and the local community," said a Kaizen Academy spokesperson.
Kaizen Academy, on Ridge Lane in Lancaster, teaches kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts.
