Morecambe CC Women's team have triumphed in the Northern Pyramid Super 8s Final.
The team secured their second trophy in as many seasons after a thrilling contest against Penwortham CC, held at at Blackpool CC.
The match proved to be a nail-biting affair, with both teams battling it out in a closely contested encounter. However, Morecambe's composure and determination saw them edge past their opponents, clinching the coveted cup.
Key performances came from the entire squad, with captain Lauren Burrow leading from the front, and Charlotte Clough, Tarnia Elsworth, and Emily Routledge were pivotal with both bat and ball.
Sandra Roberts and Justine Patton played vital roles in the field, adding pressure and crucial runs.
Natasha Kirkham and Trudy Humphrey also delivered solid contributions, ensuring the team remained focused and united throughout.
The victory marks another chapter in Morecambe CC Women’s impressive rise in local cricket, and they will be looking to build on this success in the seasons ahead.
