Morecambe Cricket Club's first men's XI prepared for the start of the new season with a friendly win over Lancaster University.
The team was victorious at Woodhill Lane on Saturday, after scoring 290-9 in their 45 overs.
Man of the match Taylor Backhouse hit 81 before having to retire, and Lewis Smith and Luke Pearson both scored 40.
The university team was bowled out for 139 with Lewis Smith, Michael Bland, Stefan Dixon and Lloyd Smith each taking two wickets.
The new league season gets under way this weekend, as Morecambe First XI play Torrisholme at Woodhill Lane (12:30), Morecambe Second XI will play away at Shireshead, and on Sunday, Morecambe Third XI will play Windermere at Woodhill Lane.
