Morecambe’s on loan defender James Connolly has been recalled by his parent club, Bristol Rovers.
Since his arrival in August, he made 17 appearances, scoring twice in draws against Accrington Stanley and Bradford City respectively in League Two.
A short statement from Morecambe FC said: ‘’We'd like to place our thanks on record to James for his efforts while at the Club and wish him well for his future endeavours as he returns to the Bristol Rovers first team.’’
Yesterday, it was confirmed that winger Ethan Walker had been recalled from his loan spell by Blackburn Rovers, with the 21-year-old moving to National League side Oldham Athletic.
