Morecambe’s game with Charlton Athletic in League One has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
A Friday afternoon inspection of the Mazuma Stadium playing surface has deemed that the pitch is unplayable.
The Club had made every effort to try and ensure the game went ahead, including deploying frost covers over the surface earlier in the week, but the prolonged cold snap, where temperatures have remained below freezing for large parts of the week, have ultimately proved to be too much.
Sunday's women's fixture against Workington Reds Ladies will also now be rescheduled.
Details on the rescheduled fixtures and ticketing arrangements will be announced in due course.
Think Interior's JB's Bar will remain open for England's World Cup quarter-final on Saturday evening.
Doors open from 5:30pm for the 7pm kick-off.
