Morecambe FC's opposition in National League North next season has been revealed.
The FA published details of club allocations for the 2026/27 campaign – where the Shrimps will play in the sixth tier of English football and step 2 of the National League system for the first time since 1995 – on Thursday.
Morecambe and Brackley Town will play in the North division following their relegation.
They will be joined by Harborough Town and Spalding United, promoted from the Southern League Premier Central Division, and Hebburn Town and Hednesford Town, promoted from the Northern Premier League Premier Division.
Despite being a ‘North’ division, the Shrimps will still face plenty of miles on the road next season, due to the wide geographical spread of the clubs in the division, which includes sides from as far afield as Tyne and Wear, South Wales, East Anglia, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and Oxfordshire.
All allocations are subject to appeals, with the full constitution set to be ratified at the National League AGM which takes place on Saturday, June 6.
