A powerlifting champion mum from Morecambe is proving that strength runs in her family.
Kimber-Lee Hicks won the Irish Pro Invitational Powerlifting Championship at the weekend and now goes on to take part in the women's British championship in July.
The mum-of-three squatted 190kg, bench pressed 107.5kg and deadlifted 206kg to beat a field of top lifters from around the world at the event in Limerick.
She said winning the event had been "an amazing experience, fighting down to the last lift" and thanked her team for their support.
