A Kendal man has died following a collision on the A590 near Newby Bridge between a car and a coach.
Police were contacted shortly before 3:30pm (January 21) with a report of a collision between a white Suzuki Alto and a coach.
The driver of the Suzuki Alto, a 41-year-old man from Kendal, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
There were no other reported injuries.
The A590 was closed between Meathop and Newby Bridge until shortly after midnight this morning (January 22).
