Barrow’s neighbourhood policing team is once again being supported by a local dealership who have donated a new Hyundai Kona.
DSG Ltd have, for the twelfth year running, donated a vehicle which will be by neighbourhood officers and staff to prevent crime in the town and surrounding area.
Sharon Livesey-Roach, Crime Prevention Officer, said: “We really appreciate DSG’s continued commitment to helping us reduce crime in our communities and the vehicle is an extremely useful resource to do that.
“This partnership assists us getting to those people who need our support and advice. In my role as a crime prevention officer, I am regularly visiting areas to advise people on how best to protect themselves from criminals and help prevent crimes from occurring.”
