Police are investigating assault on a conductor on a train at Windermere station.
British Transport Police say the member of staff was ‘left shaken, but fortunately with no significant injuries’, after he was punched to the head by a passenger yesterday (May 1).
Officers are examining CCTV and obtaining statements.
Enquiries are ongoing.
