Visiting on Ward 6 at Furness General suspended due to Norovirus outbreak

Visiting on Ward 6 of Furness General Hospital continues to be suspended due to a Norovirus outbreak.

The outbreak is affecting patients and colleagues, with the suspension in place since July 17.

Relatives and carers of patients on Ward 6 will continue to be kept up to date.

Bosses at the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust said a further update would be shared when possible, and thanked everyone for their patience and support at this time.
