An all-day music event near Carnforth next month will raise money for a suicide prevention charity.
The Arnside Music Festival, on Saturday, September 7, will support Papyrus, the UK charity for the prevention of young suicide in people under 35.
The event at Arnside Tower Farm promises to showcase some of the best local artists in the area, and invited guests.
There will be seven live bands on through the day including Murray Thomson, Matt Morgan (from Late Night Fiasco), Alice and the Looking Glass, Shelly's Bane, Thieving Magpies, 50k North and Big Amongst Sheep.
Themed as The Grand Reunion, organisers say the festival is a great opportunity to get together with old friends from school, college, university, work, or sport, and spend the day together reconnecting whilst listening to some great live music.

Live performances will start in the marquee at 1:30pm. Gates open at 12 noon.
In addition to Papyrus, some of the funds raised will go towards new equipment at Arnside playing fields.
Arnside Tower Farm is located at Far Arnside, Carnforth, LA5 0SN.
