A children's author will be the special guest at an open day at a Morecambe school celebrating the heritage of Poland.
Wojciech Filaber has written popular children's books 'War Bear' and 'Ciapek the Co-Pilot Dog'.
He will appear at a Polish Heritage Day on Saturday April 29 at Morecambe Bay Academy celebrating the music, food and traditions of Poland.
The free event is open to all and runs from noon to 4pm.
There will be live performances, exhibitions, food, a football competition, platform slide, fire service, Brazilian ju-jitsu, Zumba-Marika and a free planetarium show by a physics outreach team from Lancaster University.
The day has been organised by the Polish Saturday School in Lancaster.
