The Real Thing singer Chris Amoo has spoken to Beyond Radio about his career in the music business ahead of his return to Morecambe.
Chris and his band mate Dave Smith, both original members of the top British soul group, will appear at The Platform on Saturday September 15.
The band are famed for their 1976 number one smash 'You to Me Are Everything' and further Top 5 hits 'Can't Get By Without You' and 'Can you Feel the Force?'
Now a duo, The Real Thing will be performing all their hits and tracks from new album 'A Brand New Day'.
Chris chatted to us about his career in the music business, his memories of the heady days of the 1970s, his passion for breeding show dogs, his late brother and bandmate Eddie, and much more in this exclusive interview.
