High-flying Lancaster band LOWES will perform in our local area this week followed by a headline gig in London.
The trio - Evie Plumb, Jamie Walker and Luke Paget - are enjoying constant airplay on Beyond Radio right now thanks to their fabulously catchy new single 'Game of Love'.
Limited tickets are still available for their gig at Brewery Arts Centre in Kendal this Friday (March 10).
Evie, Luke and Jamie have seen massive success over the past 18 months with numerous tracks receiving ‘Hottest Record’ status and hundreds of spins on Radio 1 and Beyond Radio, shows at Reading and Leeds Festival, Kendal Calling and Highest Point, plus awards including Dance Vocalist of the Year from Radio 1 for Evie.
Check out the amazing video for Game of Love by LOWES.
Evie has become one of the most sought-after vocalists in the country, following the group’s collaborations with Camelphat, Franky Wah, Sigma and more.
She describes LOWES’ music as a hybrid of alternative organic pop, and explorative electronic dance music, citing Florence & The Machine, Robyn, Lorde & London Grammar as key influences.
Doors for the Kendal show are at 8pm. Support comes from Vacant Weekend. Tickets available from the Brewery Arts Centre.
LOWES will also appear at The Lower Third in central London on Thursday March 16. See the group's Facebook page for more details.
