Lancaster Castle will host an open air Last Night at the Proms concert by a top orchestra.
This will be the first time the castle has hosted such an event and it will take place in the Lower Courtyard on Saturday September 3.
The renowned 60-piece Blackpool Symphony Orchestra will perform at the ticket-only concert.
The concert will mark the orchestra's centenary, as well as the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty The Queen, Duke of Lancaster.
Expect all the Last Night at the Proms classics on a patriotic night of orchestral music.

The performance starts at 7.30pm, doors 6.30pm.
Tickets cost £10 (no concessions) and are available to buy from Lancaster and Morecambe’s Visitor Information Centres.
