Lancaster quayside music festival returns for second event of the year

Killer Boots will perform as part of the second Quay-Fest music festival in Lancaster

A festival of music on the Lancaster quayside is returning for the second time this year.

Quay-Fest will bring more than 30 live music acts to three Lancaster pubs in and around St George's Quay on the August bank holiday weekend.

The event is held at the Wagon and Horses, the George and Dragon and the Three Mariners.

The idea is for the music festival to take place twice a year, with Quay-Fest III scheduled for February 2024 and Quay-Fest IV for August 2024.

Acts performing at Quay-Fest II, taking place from Friday August 25 to Monday August 28, include The Duo, Jason Mcloughlin, The Section, a Robbie Williams vs Oasis tribute, Mattie Gough, James Candlin (pictured below), Batala samba drummers, the Thieving Magpies, Killer Boots, Stonecutter, ACE/DC, Coastline, Amy Rae, T-Kay Legends of Soul, Mark as Gary Barlow, Jamie Walker, Rob Young, Off Limits, Reggie Mental Band, Totally Blond, The Buskers Ball hosted by Rachael Waring and Jamie Brewer, HUSH, Jamie Fredrick, Nick Tinsdeall, Intensely Staring Cats, Mel Gowers, David and Ruth, and Tony and Donna.
