A classic Agatha Christie tale of suspense and humour will be performed by a Lancaster theatre group.
The Lancaster Footlights presents 'Spider's Web' at the Lancaster Grand next month.
'Spider's Web' is the legendary murder mystery writer's second most successful play (744 performances), surpassed only by the record-breaking 'The Mousetrap'.
The story follows Clarissa, married to a top diplomat, who loves to spin tales just like a spider spins a web.
However, when someone is murdered right in her drawing room, that’s another matter as live drama is so much harder to cope with!
Her house guests help her try and dispose of the body before her husband gets back but they are interrupted by the arrival of Detective Brown who was told there has been a murder, and hilarity ensues.
Performances are on October 4, 5, 9, 10 and 11, all at 7.30pm except on Sunday 5th at 2.30pm.
