The cast of a musical production of The Wizard of Oz at a Lancaster theatre have been talking to us about shoes, straw, tails and more!
The classic tale, by LADOS (Lancaster Amateur Dramatic and Operatic Society) comes to the Lancaster Grand from Tuesday April 21 to Saturday April 25.
Dorothy and Toto go 'Over The Rainbow' and 'Follow the Yellow Brick Road' to see 'The Wonderful Wizard of Oz' in 'The Emerald City'.
Along the way they come across The Scarecrow, The Tin Man and The Cowardly Lion and their adventures continue when they meet the Munchkins, Ozians, Glinda, The Wicked Witch and of course The Wizard.
Matt Boardman (Tin Man), James Shields (Cowardly Lion), Immy Horton (Dorothy) and Andrew Thompson (Scarecrow) were our studio guests to talk about the show in a conversation that was as much fun as the show itself promises to be!
