Members of the team behind the Lancaster Chinese New Year celebrations have visited our studio to chat about this year's events.
Percy Lee and Wilson Wei spoke about the two major events happening this year - an indoor cultural variety show at the Lancaster Grand this Saturday, followed by an outdoor carnival in the city centre on Sunday February 8.
The variety show starts at 7.30pm and will include Chinese dance, Shaolin Kung Fu, Kunqu Opera, The Chinese Youth Orchestra, music, dance and a magic show.

The celebration continues in the heart of the city with a vibrant street festival on Sunday February 8, with free activities centred around Market Square.
This runs from 10am to 5pm and includes a lion and dragon parade, dances, music, Kung Fu, singing, magic and workshops. Look out too for Beyond Bear!
You can try on traditional Chinese costumes, practice calligraphy, learn paper cutting, and more!
Activities are free.
Look out too for Chinese lanterns above the city centre in the run-up to and during the Chinese New Year celebrations. This year marks the Year of the Horse.
