A night celebrating anarchic 1990s TV show The Word is coming to the Winter Gardens theatre in Morecambe.
Terry Christian, host of The Word, will bring his one-man show celebrating the notorious late-night Channel 4 programme, to the historic venue on Saturday April 19.
'The Word' was known for its controversy and sometimes outrageous behaviour of guests.
Running from 1990 to 1995, it featured interviews, live music and even game shows, with its presenters including Christian, Dani Behr and Mark Lamarr.
Notable moments included the TV debut of Oasis, singer/guitarist Donita Sparks of L7 removing her jeans and underwear during a performance, and actor Oliver Reed giving a barely coherent drunken interview before performing 'Wild Thing' with indie band Ned's Atomic Dustbin.
'The Word is Terry Christian' will start at 7.30pm.
Tickets available HERE.
The Winter Gardens will also host Tom Hingley Plays Inspirals on Saturday March 22, featuring the front man of 90s indie band Inspiral Carpets plus support. Tickets available HERE.
