A leading light of the restoration of Morecambe Winter Gardens will give a talk on its fascinating history in Lancaster this Friday (September 2).
Professor Vanessa Toulmin, chair of the Winter Gardens Preservation Trust, will talk about the renovation of the 125-year-old building at Lancaster City Museum from 6pm.
Professor Toulmin is also the chair of Early Film and Popular Entertainment at the University of Sheffield and also Research Director of the National Fairground and Circus Archive.

There will be also be a raffle with exciting prizes to be won.
Organisers the Friends of Lancaster City Museum welcome donations from attendees (suggested £1 from members, £5 from non-members).
