An annual music festival showcasing the best of the UK underground extreme metal and punk scene returns to Barrow later this month.
Funeral Fest will be taking place at the Soccer Bar, from 2pm until late on Friday 28th June and Saturday 29th June.
Organiser Matt Davidson said: ‘’With decades of experience in the scene, our team specially cultivate some of our personal favourite acts, from local rising artists to internationally recognised icons, celebrating the diversity and variety of heavy music.
‘’Having previously hosted major acts such as Discharge, Raging Speedhorn, Skelethal, Desecration, Conjurer and more, this year returns with four stellar headliners.
‘’Coheadlining the Friday are Manchester based Nu Metal icons Kill II This and North Eastern metal band, Avenger.
‘’The Saturday sees Singaporean Grindcore innovators Wormrot and US Sludge/Doom noise merchants Morne as headliners.’’
