Supergrass front man to perform in Lancaster

The front man of Britpop legends Supergrass is coming to play a solo show in Lancaster.

Gaz Coombes will perform at the Kanteena on Friday May 19 with support from John J Presley.

Coombes is best known for his string of popular hits with top indie band Supergrass in the 1990s, including 'Alright', 'Moving', 'Pumping on Your Stereo', 'Richard III' and 'Caught by the Fuzz'.

His fourth solo record 'Turn The Car Around' was released earlier this year. It's been described as "a record of feeling - an album that captures the ups and downs of modern life and all the small print in between".

The show is for 14+ (14-16s to be accompanied by an adult).

Tickets priced £20 went on sale today (March 24) from here.
