Beth Across the Bay

Beth Across the Bay celebrates everything that is fabulous about Morecambe Bay from Walney Island to Sunderland Point and all places in-between. The show is all about being upbeat, so expect plenty of tunes you can bop around to, as well as local good news stories, guests from the local community, and the infamous Morecambe Bay Quiz.

Beth says. "I've has been passionate about radio since I was a kid and grew up listening to Junior Choice with Ed “’ello darlin’” Stewart. As a teen I used to sneak my small radio into school on Tuesdays so I could hear the chart show at lunchtimes, as well as stashing it under my pillow at night for illicit hours listening to the likes of Annie Nightingale, John Peel, and Janice Long."

Beth took her first steps into presenting as a student on hospital radio where she quickly found her niche of laid-back, feel good chat and nonsense. She’s easily distracted, loves happy tunes, and has a tendency to sing along so, if you’re looking for someone to put a smile on your face on a Saturday afternoon, then look no further!
