No Words

No Words is a show where music takes the lead and lyrics take a well-earned rest. Each week, it’s an hour of instrumental goodness spanning everything from classical to electronica, film scores to obscure library gems. Where else could you hear Mozart, Daft Punk, and the soundtrack from a forgotten Italian horror film—all in the same hour?
Your host, Gary, will be your guide through this wordless world. Raised in the wilds of South Buckinghamshire but calling Lancaster home for the past twenty years, Gary first caught the instrumental bug at the age of five, when Star Wars filled the cinema with John Williams’ iconic score. Add in his nan’s deep love of classical music, and it wasn’t long before Gary was humming along to the likes of Ennio Morricone, George Gershwin, and Bernard Herrmann.
So, if you’re in the mood for something different—sometimes soothing, sometimes cinematic—settle in with your favourite hot drink and let Gary take you on a musical journey.
No Words, Mondays at 10pm.
