Women looking for help to start up their own businesses will pitch at a Dragons' Den-style event in Lancaster.
The Growing Club is holding an 'Angels' Den' event at Fraser House, White Cross, on Thursday September 25.
This is a chance for women on the club's start-up course to pitch for support for their fledgling businesses, just like people do on the hit television show Dragons' Den.
"Unlike the TV, our Angels are much more gentle, and every woman who pitches comes away with something," said a spokesperson for the Growing Club.
"We are looking for local business Angels willing to offer the time, support, resources or seed funding that could help a business transform."
The Growing Club, based in Lancaster, offers business training and support to local women, and has been providing entrepreneurship and employability training to women in the Lancaster district since 2016.
Contact sarah@thegrowingclub.co.uk for more information about becoming an Angel or to sponsor the event.
