A Lancaster bar is appealing to the public to stop vandalising a giant blow up Santa outside their venue.
All Hopes No Promises got into the festive spirit by proudly displaying the inflatable outside their premises on Market Street late last month.
Since then, Santa has been victim to a number of attacks, all caught on the bar’s CCTV cameras.
In shocking scenes over the weekend, a man ‘rugby tackled’ Santa, finally causing the inflatable to burst.
The culprit was caught and has agreed to pay for a new Santa, which should arrive later this week.
A spokesperson for All Hopes No Promises said: ‘’Santa is for children, we have so many families that stop and take photos, it puts smiles on their faces.
‘’So can some people of Lancaster stop trying to ruin it. #LeaveSantaAlone.’’
