A balloon stylist from Lancaster who brings showstopping decor to events across our area is celebrating being named a finalist - twice - in a leading business awards.
Events by Nashe, run by Panashe Madhlambudzi, has been named a finalist in the Product Business and Creative Business categories of this year's Female Business Awards.
The company is a balloon and event decor business based in Lancaster, specialising in corporate events decor.
Events By Nashe works with leading local businesses including Wallings, Cappuvino and The Performance Studios.
The awards, now in their fifth year, celebrate the brilliance of female-led business across the UK.
Panashe said she started Events by Nashe as "a 19 year old girl doom scrolling into the balloon and events industry and eventually getting her first balloon pump for her 20th birthday back in 2023".

"Three years since getting my first balloon pump, I would have never imagined being a finalist for an award, never mind two," she said.
"It’s as if those times I managed this business alongside my university degree and part time jobs are slowly starting to pay off.
"But to me, it's not about the awards or recognition, it's about the businesses and people I help celebrate their occasions in their own, unique way. That's my 'why'."
The winners will be announced at a gala awards evening on Thursday October 15 at the Victoria & Albert Marriott Hotel, Manchester.
The awards recognise the passion, energy and commitment it takes to run a small business, sharing the pride, showcasing the success, and building the confidence of female business owners to move forward.
