A Lancaster-based will writing firm will donate a share of its annual profits to 30 worthy organisations via its new Community Fund.
Morecambe Bay Wills & Estates has launched the new £7500 fund, to be divided into 30 donations of £250 each for grassroots organisations including in North Lancashire.
The money will go to charities, youth groups, clubs and community projects - helping them continue the vital work they do in supporting people locally.
“We are privileged to work with families across three counties, helping them secure their future," said Nicola Combe, director of Morecambe Bay Wills & Estates.
"It feels only right that we share some of our success with the very communities who support us.
"This is our way of saying thank you and making a real difference on the ground. A lot of local organisations are going to benefit — and we couldn’t be prouder of that.
“This is about more than one-off donations. We want to embed community profit sharing into how we run our business, year after year. By doing this, we hope to see a ripple effect — more support for local organisations, more opportunities for local people, and stronger, more resilient communities across Lancashire, Cumbria and North Wales.”
Nominations will be open from September 15 to 30 via an online form HERE.
Six winners will be selected each day during the week commencing October 13.
Draws will be split regionally between North Lancashire as well as South Cumbria and North Wales.
Winners will be revealed daily on social media, and formal notifications will follow in the week commencing October 20, with funds transferred and celebratory cheque presentations made in early November.
