A new coffee shop will open in the West End of Morecambe and it's a labour of love for the couple who are working hard to get it ready.
The Salty Bean Coffee House will be run by Becky West, who is being helped by her partner Mark Nicholls as they renovate the premises ahead of its grand opening.
The Salty Bean will be located on Marine Road West in what was formerly Ruby's cafe.
Becky, who was born in Lancaster and went to Morecambe High, said it's been her dream to open a coffee house in the town.

"I come from a really large family and eating food together has always been incredibly important to us," said Becky.
"To be able to be in a position where I can open a cafe or coffee house to bring the community together is really good.
"I've invested in myself and the West End of Morecambe and hopefully it's going to be a success.
"I've also got coeliac disease so it's been incredibly hard for me to eat out in Morecambe for the last 12 years since I was diagnosed with it, so to be able to specialise in dietary requirements is something I'm very passionate about, and give people the confidence to eat out, and have a good breakfast or lunch, and sit and look at some beautiful views over the Bay.
"I've worked in a couple of cafes and helped run them. I love talking to people. It's not really work if you enjoy doing it, it's living the dream.
"I wanted to be in the West End because it's got a real community feel. When you spend time here you get to know a lot of people."

Mark also runs his own business Bay Property in Morecambe.
"I've regenerated two blocks of flats in the West End of Morecambe which I rent out for short-term lets to contractors visiting the area, and also holidaymakers in the summer," he said.
"I think there are a lot of misconceptions about the West End of Morecambe still.
"It's still an excellent area to invest, the properties are fantastic."
Becky said her plan is to serve "good home-made food, locally sourced at good prices" and also do private events.
She said everyone will be welcome.
"I want to provide a space for people to come, whether they want to work, meet friends for coffee or have breakfast together with the lads," she said.
"It's a work in progress but the menu's going to be very good food, and very good coffee!"
The Salty Bean Coffee House will be open by the end of October, from 8am-3pm every day.
