And Flower Pots Properties Ltd, based in Heysham, took home the Small Business of the Year in the Small Business Awards for Lancashire.
The awards celebrate businesses and individuals across the country.
Announcing the award winners, their website says:
"Building a digital marketing business in response to the limited opportunities available during the pandemic has earned Lucy Kaulbarsch of Morecambe-based Lucy Digital Ltd the Women in Tech Award in the Women in Business Awards.
"Her work now spans social media management, website design, content production, analytics and emerging technologies, supporting clients from local businesses to national brands.
"Campaign results including substantial increases in reach and more than half a million views for a new Morecambe festival demonstrate how she combines creative delivery with commercial awareness."
Lucy said: "This award recognises the work we're doing with businesses to help them embrace digital technology and use it to grow.
"Whilst social media is still a big part of what we do, our work has evolved far beyond that. Increasingly, we're helping businesses implement digital systems, marketing automation, websites, paid advertising and other technology that creates long-term digital assets and supports sustainable business growth."
Announcing the win for Flower Pots Properties Ltd, Business Awards UK said: "A commitment to restoring Heysham’s appeal as a coastal destination has helped Flower Pots Properties Ltd secure Small Business of the Year in the Small Business Awards.
"Founded in 2024, the family-run hospitality business has transformed heritage properties into boutique holiday cottages, combining carefully preserved local character with thoughtful amenities and personally managed guest experiences.
"Its growth has also supported other independent businesses and encouraged visitors to spend more widely across Heysham and Morecambe."
