Morecambe BID announces partnership with family-run security business

Champions of Morecambe town centre have joined forces with a long-standing family-run security company.

Morecambe BID (Business Improvement District) and Lingwood Security Management Limited announced a new corporate partnership.

The BID said this "further strengthened the organisation's commitment to supporting local businesses and investing in the future of Morecambe".

Lingwood Security Management Limited has been serving businesses and communities across the region for more than 30 years.

Founded in Morecambe and based at Penrod Way in Heysham, the company provides professional security services and supports the local area.

The new partnership will see Lingwood Security Management Limited support the ongoing work of Morecambe BID as it delivers projects, events, initiatives and investment designed to benefit the town centre, local businesses and the wider community.

"We're delighted to be working with Lingwood Security Management Limited as our new corporate partner," said David Waddington, chair of Morecambe BID.

"Lingwood Security Management Limited has a long history as a Morecambe family business and they're really keen to support us with our work to help Morecambe thrive.

Morecambe BID is a not-for-profit organisation led by a volunteer board of local business representatives, who spend money raised by a levy on improvements to the town centre.
