The Midland Hotel and the organisers of Morecambe's popular light festival Baylight are among the finalists with a chance of winning a prestigious countywide business award.
The art deco hotel on Morecambe Promenade, and Morecambe Sparkle CIC who run the Baylight festival also on the Prom, have been shortlisted in the Tourism, Leisure and Hospitality category at the Lancashire Business View Red Rose Awards.
Several other local organisations, charities and businesses have been announced as finalists in the awards.
Pure Leisure Group, the Carnforth-based holiday park firm, is also shortlisted in the Tourism, Leisure and Hospitality category and is also a finalist in the Family Business award.
Leighton Hall at Carnforth has also been shortlisted for Outstanding Collaboration.
Heysham financial advisers TP Financial Solutions and Lancaster recruitment firm The Eventus Recruitment Group are among the nominees for the Professional Services Award.
Unique Kidz & Co, a Morecambe-based charity for disabled young people, is nominated for the Not for Profit Award.
North Star Projects, a Heysham-based business consultancy firm, is shortlisted for the Export Award.

The Lancashire Business View Red Rose Awards, launched in 2011, promote success within the business community with the aim of encouraging trade within the county.
The winners of the Red Rose Awards 2024 will be announced at a ceremony at Blackpool Winter Gardens on March 14.
