A family-run takeaway in Morecambe will close down after more than 40 years.
New Dragon Town Chinese takeaway on Albert Road will shut after its last day of trading on Sunday November 10.
A notice in the window of the West End takeaway, from owners the Chan family, says:
"Dear valued customers.
"After over 40 wonderful years it is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of our family-run business as we move into retirement.
"We want to express our deepest gratitude for your loyalty, friendship and support through the years.
"Serving you has been more than a business - it has been a privilege and a joy to be part of your lives and this community.
"Our final day of trading will be Sunday November 10 2024.
"We thank you once again for the memories and for allowing us to serve you all these years."
