A Morecambe firm are celebrating a double success in the British Wills and Probate Awards 2024.
Morecambe Bay Wills and Estates were recognised as winners in both the Community & Charity Champions and Estate Planning Firm of the Year (Boutique) categories at a ceremony last week.
In addition, Andrea Bentham was recognised as a finalist in the Estate Planning Consultant of the Year category.
The 7th edition of The British Wills and Probate Awards took place on Thursday 10th October 2024, with a glittering in-person ceremony hosted by Ben Hanlin at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel in Manchester.
A spokesperson for the company said: ‘’We are thrilled to have won twice.
‘’Judged by a panel of industry experts, these really are the Oscars of our industry.
‘’Community & Charity Champion is such an important award for us, recognising everything we exist for, to give back. And with over £28,000 now raised for local charities and hundreds of hours given up to raising awareness, we are absolutely smashing that.
‘’There are literally thousands of small Estate Planning Firms in the UK - and we went and won the national award for the best one! How's that for a little local firm?
‘’And massive congratulations to our Andrea who was recognised as a finalist in the Estate Planning Consultant of the Year category. It's a testament to all she does for our clients
‘’I cannot thank our team enough - they all care so much about everything we do and this is a huge testament to that. We are a small team with a big heart.’’
