National award recognition for Morecambe financial advisers

Financial advisers from Morecambe have been recognised on a national stage after being shortlisted for major awards.

Tarnia Elsworth and Annabel Lumsden from TP Financial Solutions have been nominated in the 2026 Professional Adviser Women in Finance Awards.

Tarnia, director and financial adviser, has been nominated in the category Role Model of the Year (Small Firms), while fellow director and adviser, Annabel Lumsden has been nominated for Financial Adviser of the Year – North West; and Woman of the Year – Vulnerable Client Care.

The awards celebrate the achievements of outstanding women across the UK financial services sector, recognising excellence, leadership, and dedication to client care.

Tarnia and Annabel co-own TP Financial Solutions, based on Marine Road West near The Battery.

“I feel extremely proud to be nominated as a Role Model," said Tarnia.

"Supporting clients and helping them feel confident about their financial future is at the heart of everything I do, and it’s fantastic to see that recognised at a national level.”

Annabel said: “To be shortlisted in two categories is incredibly humbling. I’m particularly passionate about supporting vulnerable clients and making sure everyone has access to the advice they need, so this recognition means a great deal.”

The Professional Adviser Women in Finance Awards highlight individuals who are not only excelling in their roles but also helping to drive positive change within the industry.

The winners will be announced later this year at a national awards ceremony.
