The reopening date for a popular pub in Lancaster city centre has been announced after a long period of closure.
The Ring o' Bells on King Street has been shut for several years but a series of posts on its social media pages has announced it will soon reopen.
The opening date will be Friday November 28.
The pub is owned by Fat Properties and will be run by Liam Mulgrew, who is also boss at the George and Dragon on St George's Quay.
"Ring the bells!!! Save the date. Our planned opening date is Friday the 28th of November!" said a post on the Ring o' Bells Lancaster Facebook page on October 18.
"A lot of work to be done between now and then but we are raring to go! And are excited to get this fantastic pub back open!! And before Christmas too."
On October 16, a post said: "We are excited to introduce ourselves and share what we hope everyone will see as some good news. The Ring o' Bells in Lancaster will be reopening, and we will be opening before Christmas 2025 comes.
