The first finished apartments in a new £5.2m development in the West End of Morecambe have been revealed.
Beyond Radio was given a peek inside the new seven-block 'Bay Mill' development on Bold Street, which is nearing completion.
The first residents will move in to the privately rented apartments on September 4, and developers PlaceFirst said around half of the high quality one and two bed apartments have already been snapped up.
Planning permission for the scheme was granted in 2020 and work began in 2022.

"The aim is for PlaceFirst to provide good quality homes for the people of Morecambe," said Sheryl Ainsworth of PlaceFirst.
"We've released the first three blocks and out of those we have reserved 50 per cent of the entire 42.
"It's been really good, we have lots of viewings in the next few weeks as well.
"(It's mainly) people who are employed locally, the majority are key workers, everyone from mid to late 20s up to coming up for retirement.
"So far it's been an investment of £5.2m.
"We get quite a lot of outside investment, private investment that we generally work with."
The full development is due to be completed later this year.
Resident parking and landscaping with integrated planting along Bold Street will feature, as well as EV charging points, bike storage and photo voltaic panels.

VIDEO: Take a look as we walk into the new Bay Mill apartments block in Morecambe.
Bay Mill has been built on land previously occupied by terraced housing.
PlaceFirst previously remodelled old Victorian houses in the Westminster Road and Regent Road area of the West End into 107 new homes - a mix of houses and apartments.
"Typically in the West End of Morecambe historically there hasn't been a great standard of housing, especially rented housing," said Holly Sale from PlaceFirst.
"We can provide a really high quality package.
"It's really raised the profile of the West End, driving investment."

PlaceFirst said that the development has been called 'Bay Mill' because of the site’s history as the location of one of Lancashire’s famous mills.
Rental prices for the apartments at Bay Mill start from £699 per calendar month.
