Lancaster comedian Jon Richardson and Lucy Beaumont have announced they have split after nine years of marriage.
Jon is well known for his appearances on 8 Out of 10 Cats and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, as well as in recent times, numerous local appearances, including undertaking fundraising gigs for Morecambe’s Winter Gardens, and opening a new ward at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary.
The couple share one daughter, whom was born in 2016.
A statement from the couple said: "After nine years of marriage, we would like to announce that we have separated. We have jointly and amicably made the difficult decision to divorce and go our separate ways."
"As our only priority is managing this difficult transition for our daughter, we would ask that our privacy is respected at this sensitive time to protect her well-being.
‘’We will be making no further comment."
A new series of their show, ‘Meet The Richardsons’, began on Dave earlier this month.
